After settling in, join us for dinner and a wee dram or two at Springbank Distillery.
Nestled in the heart of Campbeltown, Springbank Distillery is a revered name in Scottish whisky with a legacy dating back to 1828. Family-owned and fiercely traditional, it remains one of the few distilleries in Scotland to carry out every step of production on-site. This commitment to craftsmanship and heritage yields some of the finest and most complex single malts in the world—rich, full-bodied, and unmistakably Springbank. A visit here offers not just a taste of exceptional whisky, but a glimpse into the soul of Scotland’s whisky-making tradition.

Machrihanish is as remote, rugged and natural as exists in golf. A regular feature on GB&I and world lists, the Championship Course is a collectors item for purists.
The iconic Championship layout is one of the great unaltered links the world over. The course is a traditional out-and-back links that wraps around Machrihanish Beach heading out away from the village, before turning back for home at the halfway mark.
The round begins with one of the most exhilarating opening tee shots in golf played over the corner of the beach. The excitement, however, continues for the entire round. A par 70 from the regular tees, the course features just two par 5s, both early in the back 9.

Dunaverty is regularly referred to as a “hidden gem” and it is easy to see why when you take into account the wonderful coastal setting, fantastic condition and testing layout.
A haven for golfers and wildlife alike with an abundance of birds, flora and fauna on display and possibly even a chance sighting of an otter to add to a memorable experience.
Whilst its not the longest of courses, golfers of all abilities will enjoy its natural links layout which weaves amongst the wind-contoured terrain creating natural hazards on every hole. To keep a good score, the golfer will particularly need to master the devilish collection of par 3’s ranging from 123 to 245 yards in length.

In Scotland, true links golf courses are not created, they are born of the land. More than 130 years ago, Old Tom Morris recognized the potential for great golf here in this rugged, romantic corner of Scotland, saying: “The Almichty Maun hae had gowf in his e’e when he made this place.”
And now, with the mighty Atlantic providing a dramatic backdrop, today’s golfers can enjoy the game as it was meant to be played. Here you will experience, possibly for the first time, golf the way it began. This is the true essence of the game at its most basic: golfer against the elements, golfer against himself, and golfer against a wholly natural course that is never stagnant. The joy of the game in its oldest and purest form – links golf – lies in adapting to the precise conditions of time and place. The ever-changing linksland at Machrihanish Dunes gives you a rare opportunity to create and craft golf shots you might never have imagined playing before. Machrihanish Dunes encourages thought, creativity, and imagination. For the golfer who accepts the invitation, the reward is a truly unforgettable experience.
