We had been on other NCGA trips so we are using those trips to compare this trip’s experience of services, accommodations, planned events, meals, golf courses and amenities. This had to be our least favorite. Hotel staff did not provide the attention to assisting with bags and golf clubs. To go to a golf course and not provide us with water restroom facilities, toilet paper, towels to dry the carts off from morning heavy dew, no tees or range balls is inexcusable. The bus was not stocked with water or water handed out at the beginning of days play. Outside group dinners were disorganized as no knowledge of meal beforehand, whether wine was included or not, taking us to places that could not handle group size needed to be better planned. We pay a lot for these things to have occurred. Sean is a kind man and even he seemed frustrated with service. Caroline did her best under the circumstances but I would not recommend this trip with this outfit. Too many things were unacceptable.

From the moment we arrived until we flew home, everything was taken care of by Golf Inspired. We got a detailed message every day outlining the following day’s activities. All questions were answered in a timely fashion, and the team made it a fun and friendly trip. I would highly recommend Golf Inspired for your golf vacations, they do all the work and you have all the fun.

Trip Reflections What a wonderful and memorable trip! Everything was so well organized, and the hotel choices before and after golf in Costa Navarino were just right. The winery tour and luncheon on our way from Athens were an absolute highlight, and the golf courses were truly spectacular. I also really enjoyed playing with most of the group, which made the experience even more fun. Just a few thoughts that might make future trips even smoother: Optional Tours – It would have been great to see optional tours in Athens and Costa Navarino (with pricing) ahead of time so we could plan our schedules around golf. Pairings – Since we were a group of 11, it would have been fun to mix up the foursomes more so everyone had a chance to play with everyone else. For me, I ended up playing several times with the same players, even though I had asked to be paired with a couple of others. Professional Look – It would come across as more polished if the tour leaders wore Golf Inspired logo shirts paired with khaki pants. That would give a more professional look than just wearing caps. Tipping – This is always a bit personal. Since bus transfers were already included in our expenses, I don’t think it was really necessary to collect tips as a group. I’d prefer if everyone tipped on their own as they felt comfortable. Overall, it was such a special trip, and I’m really grateful for all the effort that went into planning it!
